Peru exported to Argentina the first batch of Villa Rica Coffee with designation of origin

Peru exported the first batch of coffee with the authorization to use the designation of origin Café Villa Rica, considered one of the finest coffees in the world, reported the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi). This shipment seeks to boost the economy of coffee producers in the district of Villa Rica, province of Oxapampa, Pasco region. The aforementioned export represents a great advance that will allow the strengthening of the differentiation and positioning strategies of around 1,200 coffee producers in the national and international markets. The first batches of green bean exports are destined for Argentina and are made up of 49 sacks totaling 3,381 kilos.
