Peru has successfully gained access to the Indian market for the first time, exporting citrus fruits and fresh blueberries following the necessary phytosanitary requirements. Managed by Peru's National Agrarian Health Service (SENASA) within the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (MIDAGRI), this achievement opens up to the potential of tapping into the world's second most populated country's demand for fresh agricultural products. Peruvian producers now have the opportunity to expand their reach from 46 to 47 countries for citrus exports and 32 markets for blueberries, with a focus on meeting strict export regulations and benefiting from tax advantages. Additionally, Myperuglobal is launching the Agroexport Analyst program to provide virtual training on essential aspects of agricultural exporting, such as market research, negotiation, and logistics, starting September 25.
