"Aquaculture is for fishing the same as agriculture is for harvesting, the difference is that agriculture has existed for thousands of years and aquaculture has an expansion period of a few decades," explains Alfonso Miranda Eyzaguirre, president of the Committee for Fishing and Aquaculture of the National Society of Industries (SNI).
