In July 2024, Peruvian aguaymanto exports experienced a notable increase, reaching 79 tons valued at US$ 553,000, marking a 47% rise in both volume and value from the previous year. The average price remained steady at US$ 6.99 per kilogram. The number of export destinations expanded to 13, with the Netherlands, the United States, and Germany being the top importers. The Netherlands imported 39 tons, the United States 13 tons, and Germany 8 tons, with significant growth observed in the U.S. market. Exports were mainly shipped through Euroandinos Port Terminals, Jorge Chávez International Airport, and APM Terminals, involving 14 Peruvian companies.
