(Agraria.pe) Between January and October of 2025, Peruvian exports of chocolate –including drinking chocolate–, both organic and conventional, exceeded US$ 62 million, showing an increase of +12% from the US$ 55,549,000 reported in the same period of the previous year. This was reported by the Agroexport Management of the Association of Exporters (ADEX), which detailed that in the analyzed period of this year, shipments of organic chocolates amounted to US$ 33,766,000, registering a rise of +31% (concentrating 54.5% of the total) and conventional ones amounted to US$ 28,348,000, reflecting a drop of -5% (participating with 45.5%). In the first ten months of the current year, the United States was consolidated as the main destination for chocolate from Peru with US$ 28,182,000, which represented an increase of +28% compared to the US$ 22 million recorded in similar months of 2024, reaching a participation of 45% of the total.
