Peruvian cocoa and chocolate were showcased to international buyers at a business conference within the Cocoa and Chocolate Fair, resulting in commercial expectations of over $5 million. Buyers from Germany, the United States, Poland, Mexico, the Netherlands, Switzerland, New Zealand, France, Austria, and Argentina confirmed the high quality of Peruvian cocoa. The fair also had support from Salon Du Chocolat Paris, making Peru the first cocoa-producing country to be part of this global network of fairs.
