Peruvian coffee continues to strengthen its presence in the Asian market. During the SCAJ 2025 – World Specialty Coffee Conference and Exhibition, held from September 24 to 26 in Tokyo, Peru reaffirmed its positioning as a reliable origin of specialty coffees in the demanding Japanese market. The participation, organized by the Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Export and Tourism (Promperú) through its Commercial Office in Tokyo, brought together seven exporting companies that generated business projections of more than $9 million. The Peruvian pavilion, one of the most visited at the fair, presented coffees with traceability, sustainable certifications, and differentiated sensory profiles, attributes increasingly valued by the Japanese consumer.
