Between January and November of 2025, Peruvian coffee exports reached US$ 1,581,335,000, according to ADEX. Domestic consumption of this bean in Peru is around 1.6 kg per capita, a low volume when compared to Colombia (2.5 kg) or Brazil (5.5 kg). Coffee is one of the most emblematic products of Peru, its aroma and flavor have conquered more than 50 markets around the world between January and November of 2025, with the USA, Germany, Belgium, and Canada being its main destinations, reported the manager of Institutional Relations and Agreements of the Association of Exporters (ADEX), Ysabel Segura Arévalo. However, she added, domestic consumption is barely around 1.6 kg per person per year, a low volume when compared to Colombia (2.5 kg) or Brazil (5.5 kg).
