(Agraria.pe) In the first half of 2025, Peruvian exports of fresh asparagus reached US$ 131 million for 36 thousand tons, which represented an increase of 14% in value and 28% in volume, compared to the same period in 2024. This performance is explained by the favorable climatic conditions that improved crop productivity, as well as the application of corrective agronomic management, such as recovery fertilization and the rescheduling of harvests, which allowed for the optimization of yield and the continuity of production.
