(Agraria.pe) Between January and May 2023, Peruvian exports of menestras totaled US$ 26.8 million, showing an increase of +5.5% compared to what was achieved in the same period last year. In addition, between January and May 2022, a growth of +5% was registered compared to the same period of 2021. This was reported by the Peruvian Foreign Trade Society (Comex Peru), which noted that in the first five months of this year, shipments of beans from Peru amounted to 14,817 tons, which represented a drop of -16.1% compared to the same period of the previous year (2,834 tons less).
