(Agraria.pe) Passion fruit exports between January and June of 2025 totaled US$ 40,012,000, reflecting a growth of 36% compared to the US$ 29,411,000 reported in the same period last year, which would indicate a recovery in shipments of this product, as 2024 (January-December) had a contraction of -10.7%, reported the Agroexport Management of the Association of Exporters (ADEX). The most important destination was the Netherlands with US$ 16,608,000, with a participation of 41.5% and an increase of +32.4%. This country is the gateway to Europe for many non-traditional Peruvian products. Following were the United States with US$ 8,131,000 (+39.1%), France with US$ 4,263,000 (+65.8%); Chile, US$ 3,839,000 (+67.1%); Puerto Rico, US$ 1,097,000 (+58.5%); and Italy, US$ 1,003,000 (+60.3%).
