In 2020, Russia's fruit imports remained stable at US $ 5,189 million, with Peruvian fruits outperforming others by growing from US $ 66 million in 2018 to US $ 124 million, making Peru the leading supplier with a 60% share. The growth was led by avocados, mangoes, and blueberries, with avocados becoming the most imported fruit, mangoes displacing Brazil, and blueberries replacing Chile. Despite the pandemic, the price of these fruits decreased compared to the previous year. Notably, Colombian avocados and Moroccan blueberries also saw significant growth in the Russian market.
