Between May 12 and 16, two representatives from the Plant Protection Research and Development Office of Thailand's Department of Agriculture (DOA) visited Peru as part of the phytosanitary agreements between both countries, according to the ProHass guild. During their visit, they conducted an exhaustive audit of cultivation fields and packing plants, verifying that the necessary requirements are met to authorize Hass avocado exports for the 2025 campaign.
