Peruvian mandarin exports experienced their fourth month of consecutive growth in September 2024, with a shipment of 24,714 tons valued at $32.86 million, marking a 4.8% increase in volume and a 6.7% increase in value over the previous year. The average price per kilogram rose by 1.8% to $1.33. The United States was the primary market, receiving 47.4% of the exports. Other significant destinations included Mexico, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Russia. The exports were predominantly from the Lima, Ica, La Libertad, and Arequipa regions, with the Murcott, Tango, and Malvasio varieties being the most popular.
