The information was shared by market analyst Heber Chávez, who noted that the Peruvian product reached 14 countries, with the United States being the main market with a 58.45% share in the first quarter of the year. The Dominican Republic ranked second, with a 13.93% share. The remaining countries represented 27.62% for this legume. He added that during this period, 9 exporting companies made possible the shipment of this food abroad. The main companies were: V&F S.A.C., which is the primary company carrying out canned legume shipments. Procesadora Peru S.A.C. followed.
