Peruvian yellow pepper exports in 2025: The U.S. and Spain concentrate 74% of the market

(Agraria.pe) During the period from January to June 2025, exports of Peruvian yellow chili totaled 1,501.9 tons. According to market analyst Heber Chávez, this represents a 21% decrease in volume compared to the same period of the previous year. The product, which can be cultivated throughout the year, maintains its presence both in the national supply and in the permanent shipments to international markets. Main destinations and market shareShipments reached 32 countries, with the United States as the main destination, accounting for 53% of exports in the first half of 2025. Spain occupied the second place, with a participation of 21.3%, while the remaining 25.7% was distributed among other international markets.
