Petrobras concludes contract signings for the second train of Rnest, in Pernambuco

Petrobras reported this Friday, the 24th, that it has finalized all the contract signatures for the resumption of the construction of the processing units of Train 2 of the Abreu e Lima Refinery (Rnest), located in the city of Ipojuca, in Pernambuco. In total, there are nine contracts with companies such as Consag, Tenenge, CPL, Possebon, Tecnosonda, and Schneider Electric, which amount to more than R$ 8.3 billion in investments. This value is provided for in the Business Plan 2025-2029 (PN 2025-2029). The investment is part of the New Growth Acceleration Program (PAC). The total start of the second train of the Pernambuco refinery is scheduled to occur by 2029, but part of the works are already underway, with more than two thousand and five hundred jobs mobilized. The estimate is the generation of around 30 thousand direct and indirect jobs throughout the entire construction process of Train 2, which, when ready, will add about 13 million liters of Diesel S10 (low sulfur) per day ...
