Poles want to resume protests at the border because of Ukrainian raspberries

Sylvester Dzewulski from the Lublin Chamber of Agriculture told Radio Maryja about this. He noted that the flow of agro-food products from Ukraine is destroying the soft fruit market, where a significant drop in purchase prices is recorded. Polish producers claim that now they receive from 6.5 to 7 zlotys (70-75 UAH) for a kilogram of raspberries. This is below the level of profitability. Farmers fear that purchase prices will continue to fall. "It's several thousand tons - that's what the manufacturers assume. Recently, a significant decrease in purchase prices has been observed, which is clearly caused by imports from Ukraine," said Sylvester Dzevulskyi.
