Polish plant food producers are establishing an industry organization

The Polish Association of Plant Food Producers will take care of the interests and further development of the plant products industry. The new industry organization will represent the common voice of entrepreneurs gathered around the plant food segment and initiate solutions at the political, legal and institutional level that will contribute to increasing the share of plant production in the Polish and European food system. According to GfK Polonia, the Polish market for plant products is worth PLN 1.5 billion, plant-based products already reach 5.9 million Polish households. Despite the scale and development potential, companies producing plant-based alternatives had no industry representation, and the public debate lacked an organization acting on behalf of this developing segment of the food industry.
