Pollock catch by Russian fishermen by the end of 2024 will amount to about 2 million tons, which will be approximately the same as last year, TASS was told by the President of the Pollock Catchers Association Alexey Buglak. "The main fish of Russia is pollock. According to our estimates, by the end of the year it will account for about 40% of the total Russian catch, or about 2 million tons," he said. Buglak noted that pollock is among the top 10 most affordable types of fish in Russia.
