Traders who came to Korkuteli for pomegranate exports noted that pomegranates, which are produced intensively in the Mediterranean, Southeastern Anatolia, and Aegean regions of Turkey, hold an important place in the economy of Antalya. Pomegranate trader Mustafa Ozan explained that pomegranate cultivation is done annually in Antalya, particularly in the districts of Döşemealtı, Çığlık, Aksu, Serik, Manavgat, Finike, and Kumluca, as well as in the Fethiye district of Muğla, and after the harvest, they collect the pomegranates on branches and place them in the cold storage facility.
