Pork export revenues registered an increase of 75% at the close of September, driven mainly by demand from the Taiwanese market, as reported by Hugo Schaffrath, president of the Paraguayan Association of Pig Breeders (ACCP).

"It is an exponential growth that we have been experiencing and if we go back two years ago, already in September it is double what we used to export," highlighted Schaffrath when referring to the pace of expansion in the sector. In an interview with 650 AM radio, the head of the ACCP explained that Taiwan is today the main destination for Paraguayan pork.
