Pork exports grow by 7.9% in Paraná

In October 2025, Paraná registered the second highest volume of pork exports since 1997, according to the Agricultural Economic Bulletin released on Thursday (13) by the Department of Rural Economics (Deral), from the State Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply. According to the document, 22,180 tons were shipped, an increase of 7.9% compared to October 2024, which was the best result of that year. The bulletin states that "the historical record remains that of September 2025, when 25,180 tons were exported." The report also points out that the Philippines maintained, for the sixth consecutive month, the position of the main destination for pork from the State. In October, the country also took the lead in the year-to-date total, with "73.76 tons more than Hong Kong." In that month, the Philippines purchased 5,390 tons, a volume that represents a 61.6% increase compared to October 2024.
