The US Meat Export Federation (USMEF) has restarted its Pork Truck Tour in Mexico, funded by the USDA Market Access Program (MAP) and the Agricultural Trade Promotion Program (ATP), to promote the consumption of U.S. pork and support commercial partners during the COVID-19 pandemic. The tour, which has resumed with safety measures in place, features a specially decorated truck that showcases U.S. pork products like ham steaks and pulled pork, and conducts educational presentations and tasting sessions in cities such as Puebla, Tlaxcala, and Aguascalientes. The initiative aims to boost sales of U.S. pork in the challenging economic climate caused by the pandemic.
