According to a preliminary survey by the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex/MDIC), the new tariff will affect 35.9% of Brazilian exports destined to the U.S., which corresponds to $14.5 billion in 2024. The products excluded from the coverage of the executive order represent 44.6% of the total exported, equivalent to $18 billion in the same period.
