Prices for Main Early Vegetables in Ukraine Are Falling: What and How Much They Now Cost

In Ukraine, prices are dropping for early vegetables in the borscht set, specifically potatoes, carrots, and beets. White cabbage was the only exception, having become more expensive due to a sharp reduction in supply. Analysts from the EastFruit project noted that cabbage rose from 13-15 hryvnias per kilogram to 18-22 over the week. Regarding potatoes, the lower price limit dropped from 28 to 15 hryvnias per kilogram. Carrots became cheaper from 50-60 to 35-40 hryvnias/kg, and beets from 40-45 to 30-38 hryvnias/kg. Wholesale prices for greenhouse cucumbers continue to decline from 25-50 to 15-38 hryvnias/kg. Meanwhile, sweet pepper prices increased from 100-130 to 160-190 hryvnias/kg. Broccoli became cheaper from 70-90 to 65-80 hryvnias/kg, while cauliflower slightly rose from 30-40 to 35-45 hryvnias/kg. Prices for greens continued to drop.
