Private credit aimed at agribusiness continues to expand. Data from the Private Agricultural Finance Bulletin, released last Thursday (16) by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa), show an increase in the main instruments used to finance the sector. This is the case with the Cédulas de Produto Rural (CPR) and the Letras de Crédito do Agronegócio (LCA). The Cédulas de Produto Rural reached R$ 527.4 billion in September 2025, a 27% increase in one year. Since 2021, the growth has reached 461%. From July to September of this year, the CPRs financed R$ 105.6 billion, with the volume of contracts rising 22% compared to the previous year. The instrument has been used to finance the production of grains, livestock, fruits and vegetables, as well as agricultural inputs, machinery, and sustainability projects.
