Turkey: Producer of early Yediveren figs turned to export

The products collected in the first harvest of the early fig, known as "yediveren" because it bears fruit 7 times a year in the Aegean, pleased the producer with its price. Producers, who go to their gardens for harvest in the early hours of Turgutlu district, sell the figs they collect at the purchase center for 14 to 28 liras per kilogram.
