A total of 21 Korean melon producers, members of the business group National Union of Korean Melon, have visited Murcia to learn firsthand about the quality and flavor of the melon produced in the Region. The visit to Spain by the Korean producers is part of an academic and agronomic program they carry out to learn about some of the best melon productions in the world. The president of the melon sector of the Association of Fruit and Vegetable Producers-Exporters of the Region of Murcia (Proexport), José Cánovas Ruiz, received the Korean delegation, led by its president, Lee Juh-Yun. "The objective of our visit is to learn firsthand about the best agricultural practices and the biotechnological innovation carried out by the Murcian producers, as their good reputation in these matters is recognized and appreciated globally," explained Lee Juh-Yun.
