The marketing of “green” onions has become a frequent practice in recent weeks, due to high prices. Some cebolicultores in Minas Gerais, Goiás and São Paulo consulted by Cepea have been adopting this strategy to take advantage of good market values, since the expectation is for a drop starting in August. From 6 to 10 July, prices closed at R $ 66.50 / sc of 20kg to the producer in the Triângulo Mineiro, practically stable compared to the previous week.
