REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The President Director of Bulog Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani conveyed that the project to build 100 new warehouses has entered the stage of drafting a Presidential Regulation (Perpres). This project is being prepared to anticipate an increase in rice procurement in line with the expansion of national agricultural production. Rizal explained that the addition of warehouses is an urgent need because the estimated rice procurement by Bulog in 2026 is expected to exceed the 2025 realization of 3 million tons. This increase in absorption volume is in line with the government's policy to expand rice fields and increase food production. "The progress is currently in the drafting of the Perpres.
