The inaugural Peruvian Cheese Show is set to take place from August 11 to 13 at the Lima Convention Center, organized by the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (MIDAGRI) and the Ecumenical Center for Promotion and Social Action (CEDEPAS-Norte). The event aims to enhance cheese consumption and marketing of various cheeses, both nationally and internationally. With over 50 cheese varieties available, the show will also provide information and access to innovation and technology for producers. There has been a notable increase in Peru's cheese production and consumption, with a total of 2.24 million tons of milk produced annually, 44% of which is used for cheese and dairy product processing.
