PromPerú: Exporting MSMEs make successful presentation at organic products fair in Peru

(Agraria.pe) In order to promote the Peruvian organic offer at an international level, national MSMEs recently participated in BioExpo 2021, an organic food fair that took place in Warsaw, Poland, as announced by the Promotion Commission Peru for Export and Tourism (PromPerú) The Peruvian participation consisted of the exhibition of nine exporting companies with organic supply of quinoa, lucuma, maca, sacha inchi, cocoa, ginger, camu camu, aguaymanto, bananas, among others. It should be mentioned that the export of organic products meets the trend of the European market that indicates that international consumers are concerned about maintaining a healthy diet. The fair is an opportunity for organic products from our biodiversity to attract the interest of buyers in Poland and Eastern Europe, as well as being one of the first face-to-face presentations in Europe.
