With the purpose of strengthening the production and technical management of cattle, the Beef Cattle Project of the Andean Rural Development Support Program (Pradera) delivered four demonstration fattening modules to an equal number of cattle associations in the district of Taraco, province of Huancané, Puno region. The benefiting producers belong to the cattle producer associations Señor de Imarrucos, APA Los Ángeles de Quechuate, APA San Juan Bautista de la Comunidad Campesina Collana, and APA Siachi. During the ceremony, the executive director of Pradera, Fredy Edmundo Álvarez Lupaca; the project manager for Beef Cattle; the resident of the northern area; field professionals; and the benefiting producers, who were the main protagonists of the day, participated.
