The education program, which operated through class-by-class applications, received high participation, with 53 people on the first day, 48 on the second day, and 48 on the third day.
The curriculum included Pyeongchang County's return to farming and rural living policy, as well as education on living laws necessary for those returning to farming, agricultural product distribution, agricultural technology center facility tours and usage methods, and understanding of agricultural insurance and loan systems.
The program was designed to provide those hoping to return to farming and rural living with practical information necessary for settling in the region.
Participants showed positive reactions, gaining confidence through the education that they could settle in the region stably.
Pyeongchang County stated that through this program, they have laid the groundwork for those hoping to return to farming and rural living to connect closely with the local community, and plan to contribute to increasing rural vitality and population inflow through various education and support policies in the future.
On the 5th, Lee Yong-ha, head of the Agricultural Policy Division of Pyeongchang County, said, "We aimed to establish a foundation for new returnees to farming and rural living to settle in the region stably and early through the Return to Farming and Rural Living School" and "We plan to continue operating tailored programs to support the successful settlement of returnees to farming and rural living."
