Raspberry prices in Ukraine are 4 times higher than last year

Raspberries in Ukraine have risen in price significantly, according to analysts of the EastFruit electronic publication. The price development in the segment is mainly related to the overall shrinking of the supply of raspberries on the market, and during the current part of the season the main quantities are of the remontant varieties. Growers say they plan to harvest, albeit in modest quantities, for several more weeks as temperatures allow. In Ukraine's wholesale markets, small quantities of raspberries are available in the range of 250-350 hryvnias ($6-8.40) per kilogram depending on variety and quality, up 67% from a week earlier.
