Raw milk price hiked by 17 percent in Turkiye

The National Milk Council made a decision for recommended prices at the Board Meeting held yesterday. The National Milk Council determined the recommended sales price of raw cow milk as 17.15 TL, effective from January 1, 2025. The recommended price of raw milk was 14.65 TL. This means a 17 percent increase in raw milk. The statement made about the meeting was as follows: "It was decided by majority vote that the recommended sales price of raw cow milk with 3.6 percent fat and 3.2 percent protein content, effective as of January 1, 2025, will be determined as 17.15 TL per liter net to be received by the producer (excluding raw milk support).
