A recent survey by Hortifrúti/Cepea has revealed a significant decrease in the average price of special agate potatoes across Brazil. The largest drop was in São Paulo, with a 10.18% reduction, followed by Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro with drops of 8.91% and 11.64% respectively. This decrease is primarily due to the regularization of the harvest rhythm caused by stable weather conditions. Additionally, the proximity of the end of the month is weakening demand, further contributing to the price drop.
