Retail sales of alcoholic beverages in Russia, excluding beer, beer drinks, cider, perry and mead, increased by 1.4% in the first nine months of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023. The sales volume included 42.31 million decaliters of grape wines, 55.98 million decaliters of vodka, 10.15 million decaliters of cognac, and 87.93 million decaliters of alcoholic beverages with a strength of over 9 degrees. Sales of sparkling wines and liqueur wines also saw an increase, while sales of low-alcohol drinks decreased by 13.5%.
