Average prices for cucumbers and bell peppers shot up last week. Tomato prices remained stable. This is evident from figures from the Association of Belgian Horticultural Cooperatives. Due to the increase, prices were above the five-year average at the end of week 21. This has been the case for tomatoes for a long time, especially for bell peppers this year. For a long time, the average prices in bell peppers were considerably lower.
