From July to September, 464.2 thousand tons (hull basis) were shipped, compared to 473.2 thousand tons in 2024. The revenue, however, fell by 33.6%, totaling US$ 126.2 million. According to the Director of International Affairs of Abiarroz, Gustavo Trevisan, the quarter was marked by a sharp drop in international prices, caused by the aggressive action of major exporters such as India, Thailand, and Vietnam, which pressured global quotations, including in Brazil.
