The head of Roskachestvo in Russia has announced that GOST standards for plant-based meat analogues will be introduced in the next four months. The aim is to standardize the industry, ensuring transparency for consumers about the ingredients and labeling of plant-based products. This announcement follows an earlier initiative by Rosselkhoznadzor to introduce state registration for plant-based analogues of dairy products.
