Compared to the beginning of the year, vegetables and fruits have become more expensive by 9.5%, compared to April 2025, they have become cheaper by 6.6%. The most significant decreases in April compared to March were observed in the prices of sweet pepper (-17.6%), cucumbers (-14.7%), oranges (-5.4%), garlic (-3.4%), tomatoes (-3.1%), pears (-2.9%), bananas (-2.4%), and lemons (-2.3%). At the same time, prices for cabbage increased by 4.6%, and for beets and carrots by 3.3%. In January, prices for fruit and vegetable products increased by 8.8% on a monthly basis, in February by 3.7%. In March, compared to February, there was a symbolic growth of 0.03%.
