The Rostov region in Russia has seen a significant increase in grain exports from the beginning of the year to November 8, with a total of 14,789.5 thousand tons exported, a 31.6% increase from the previous year. The exports consist of wheat, barley, corn, rice, grain sorghum, oats, buckwheat, millet, and canary seeds. The largest volumes were exported to Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Bangladesh. The increase in exports is attributed to the high harvest results, stable demand for Russian grain, and favorable price conditions on the world market. The development of grain transshipment capacities in the Rostov Region and the concentration of grain exporters and traders also contribute to the growth in grain exports.
