A report from the Economic Department of the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of the State of São Paulo (Faesp), based on the rural credit data matrix from the Central Bank, reveals that the state of São Paulo registered a disbursement of R$ 9.4 billion in the first three months of the 2025/2026 Safra Plan, a value that represents 9.2% of the total disbursed in Brazil. This amount positions the state in the fifth position in the ranking of the largest disbursements, behind the states of Rio Grande do Sul (14.9%), Paraná (14.7%), Minas Gerais (14%), and Mato Grosso (9.7%). In comparison with the same period of the previous crop, when R$ 12 billion was applied, there is a reduction of 21.7%. Additionally, there was a decrease of 28.5% in the number of contracts executed, totaling 13.2 thousand contracts.
