Russia and China are implementing an experimental project for a joint agricultural zone. This is stated in the communiqué signed at the end of the 30th regular meeting between the head of the Russian government, Mikhail Mishustin, and the Premier of the State Council of the PRC, Li Qian.
"To implement the project of creating an experimental-demonstration zone of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the field of agriculture in the Russian Far East, using the preferential regime of Russian international territories of advanced development," the communiqué states.
The parties also agreed to continue working to create favorable conditions for increasing the volume and diversification of agricultural products and food supplied to the markets of Russia and China.
