Between January and September of the previous year, global orange exports surpassed 2.8 million tons. Russia led in imports with 13% share (347,000 tons), followed by the United States (12%, 334,000 tons) and the United Kingdom (8%, 213,000 tons). The top ten importing countries also included France, Germany, Canada, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, Poland, and Uzbekistan. The United States had the highest citrus import expenditure ($493 million), followed by France, the United Kingdom, and Germany. Canada, the Netherlands, Indonesia, Thailand, and Poland were among the top ten in import value. Ukraine, Malaysia, the Philippines, China, and Belgium also made the top 15 in import value.
