Russia has emerged as the world's second-largest importer of frozen raspberries, following Poland, despite a surge in global raspberry prices. In 2021, imports rose, with Belarus becoming a significant supplier, and new suppliers like Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Georgia, Moldova, and Kyrgyzstan also entering the market. Uzbekistan's exports to Russia reached 144 tons, earning over $570,000, while Moldova and Kyrgyzstan also increased their exports fourfold and almost threefold, respectively.
