According to a survey by the US Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service, Russia is the top importer of cherries, peaches, and nectarines from Turkey for the 2022/2023 season. Russia's purchases of cherries from Turkey increased to 25,169 thousand tons, accounting for over 40% of Turkey's total cherry exports. Additionally, Russia imported 153,352 thousand tons of peaches and nectarines from Turkey, compared to 118,409 thousand tons in the previous season.
