Russia has changed the draft veterinary rules for keeping poultry

In Russia, the draft veterinary rules for keeping agricultural poultry have been amended based on the proposals of the People's Farmer Association. This was reported to the National Agrarian Agency by the farming organization. First of all, the livestock limits for enterprises have been significantly increased. In small and large farms, the permissible livestock number is still up to 100 and from 101 to 15 thousand heads, respectively. Previously, in the draft law, the permissible number for enterprises was over 1 thousand, according to the new amendments, the number has been increased to 15 thousand. The association explained that due to the old limit, most farms were presented with maximum requirements, which are designed for agricultural holdings.
